How can I track my child’s rides?

You can track your child's ride in real-time using the map tab in the Argo School app.

‍Does Argo send ride notifications?

Yes, we send notifications to Guardians logged into the app. These include driver ETA, delays, and student pickup/drop-off updates.

‍How do I cancel rides?

You can cancel an upcoming ride for your child through the app at any time before the scheduled pickup.

To cancel multiple days in advance (i.e. vacation), please inform our team at support@rideargo.com or +1 289 806 5133.

‍I can't log into the Argo School app. What should I do?

Access to the Argo School app is restricted to Guardian cell phone numbers that have been authorized by your child's school. If you're having trouble logging in, it's possible that your phone number isn't listed as an authorized Guardian contact. To resolve this issue or to update your contact information, please reach out to our support team via email at support@rideargo.com or call us at +1 289 806 5133. Our team will verify your information with the school and assist you.

‍How can I change pickup and drop-off times and locations?

Pickup and drop-off times are set for the entire school year and cannot be changed individually. This consistent schedule ensures efficient routes for all students. However, you can adjust your child's pickup or drop-off location within the existing bus route. To do this, simply use the Argo School app to select an alternative stop from the available options on your route.

‍Is a child's photo required in the app?

While not mandatory, uploading your child's photo helps our drivers verify their identity during pickup and drop-off.

‍Will my child have the same driver throughout the school year?

Generally, yes. If a substitute driver is assigned, you'll receive a notification with the new driver's profile.

‍How will I know when my child is picked up or dropped off?

You'll receive real-time updates and notifications through the app throughout your child's journey.

‍Is Guardian presence required for student drop off?

Guardian presence is required for drop-off of students in grade 2 and below. When dropping off these students at their home address, driver eye contact with a Guardian at the door is sufficient.

Drivers will wait up to 2 minutes past the scheduled drop-off time for a Guardian to appear. If no Guardian is present after this 2-minute wait, drivers are instructed to transport the student back to the school for safety reasons. For students in grade 3 and above, Guardian presence is not required at drop-off unless otherwise specified. We implement these measures to ensure the safety and security of our youngest passengers.

‍How do I add or change Guardians for my child?

Please inform the Argo team or your school.

Important: For safety reasons, only Guardians registered in the Argo system are authorized for student drop-offs. Please ensure all changes are communicated promptly to maintain up-to-date records and ensure your child's safety.

‍How long will Argo drivers wait for student pickup and drop-off?

Argo bus drivers will wait for up to 2 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup and drop-off times. Your child's pickup and drop-off times will remain consistent throughout the school year.

To ensure smooth operations and respect everyone's schedules, please have your child ready for pickup at the designated time. Similarly, be prepared to receive your child at the scheduled drop-off time.

‍Who is my child’s school bus driver?

Your assigned driver profile is shown on the Argo School app. All Argo drivers have 3+ years of school bus driving experience, and have passed comprehensive background checks including vulnerable sector screening.

‍What happens if the bus arrives earlier than scheduled?

Argo school buses may arrive at stops ahead of the scheduled time. When this happens, students are welcome to board the bus upon its arrival. However, the bus will not depart from the stop until two minutes after the scheduled pickup time. The only exception to this rule is if all expected students at that particular stop have boarded the bus.

‍What happens if my child misses the bus?

If your child misses the bus, you will receive an immediate notification through the Argo School app. In this situation, it becomes your responsibility to arrange alternative transportation for your child to or from school.

Our drivers must adhere to strict schedules to ensure timely service for all students, so they cannot wait beyond the designated time or return for students who have missed the bus.

‍How does Argo handle inclement weather or emergency situations?

Parents will be notified via email, text, and through the app.

‍Can multiple children from the same family share a ride?

Yes.

‍What kind of vehicles does Argo use for student transportation?

We use standard yellow school buses (Type A & C).
